To ensure that a rug meets your expectations and performs optimally in its intended setting, it is important to choose the right material.
Synthetic materials such as polyester and polyamide are ideal for areas with high levels of wear. Polyester is durable and features a thick pile, making it easy to wipe away spills. Polyamide has a dense structure that contributes to effective sound absorption, although liquids may penetrate its fibres slightly more quickly.
We also offer natural materials in our collection, such as high-quality wool from New Zealand. Wool is resistant to liquids and odours while providing a soft and comfortable feel. Sisal, one of the strongest natural fibres in the world, has self-cleaning properties but requires gentle cleaning with minimal water or a vacuum cleaner.
